AIMIM forms panel to prepare strategy for 2024 Lok Sabha polls

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has constituted a nine-member strategy committee headed by party president Asaduddin Owaisi to prepare for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, party sources said on Sunday.

The committee will devise the party's strategy for the Lok Sabha elections and work to strengthen the organisation at the grass-roots level. It will also suggest measures to expand the party's base beyond its traditional strongholds in Hyderabad and Aurangabad.

The committee comprises:

Asaduddin Owaisi (Chairman), Akbaruddin Owaisi (Member), Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi (Member), Imtiaz Jaleel (Member), Arshad Sharif (Member), Waris Pathan (Member), Syed Aminul Hasan Jafri (Member), Mohammed Moizuddin (Member), Qamar Mohiuddin (Member)

The AIMIM is the third largest party in the Maharashtra Assembly with 11 MLAs. The party has a strong presence in Hyderabad and Aurangabad, but it is looking to expand its base in other parts of the country.

The party's strategy committee will meet regularly to discuss the party's progress and to make recommendations to the party leadership. The committee will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the party's strategy.
