Bengals’ Higgins eagerly anticipates return against Chargers

Bengals and Chargers fans eagerly await the return of Ja’Marr Chase on Sunday, following his recovery from a hip injury, but another Bengals’ wide receiver is also looking forward to the game. Tee Higgins, who had 124 receiving yards in last week’s win over the Panthers, can’t wait to play with Chase again, saying Tuesday that the duo could be “unstoppable.” Higgins said he and Chase have been working hard and believe they can be a powerful team. Higgins missed the last two games of the regular season and the wild-card round of the playoffs with a hamstring injury. His return will provide a much-needed boost to the Bengals’ offense. Higgins had 82 catches for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns in the regular season. He was also a key contributor in the Bengals’ playoff run last year, catching seven passes for 96 yards in the AFC Championship Game. Higgins is excited to be back on the field with his teammates and is confident that the Bengals can make another run at the Super Bowl. “I’m just ready to go out there and play football,” Higgins said. “I’m excited to be back with my guys.”
