Minnesota Wild forward Brandon Duhaime left Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche in the first period after blocking a shot by Cale Makar with his foot.

Duhaime was in the slot when Makar took a shot from the point. Duhaime blocked the shot with his right foot, and he immediately went down in pain.

The Wild training staff came out to attend to Duhaime, and he was helped off the ice and down the tunnel to the dressing room.
