Brandon Duhaime Suffers A Lower-Body Injury Friday
Wild Forward has been out for four games with the ailment
Missed last three games after playing in season opener
Minnesota Wild forward Brandon Duhaime has been ruled out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. The Wild announced the news on Saturday, saying that Duhaime was injured in Friday’s game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Duhaime has missed the last four games with the injury. He played in the season opener against the New York Rangers on Oct. 13, but left the game early with the injury.
He is expected to miss significant time with the injury. The Wild have not provided a timetable for his return.
The injury is a blow to the Wild, who are already without several key players. Forwards Jordan Greenway and Ryan Hartman are both out with injuries, and defenseman Matt Dumba is also sidelined.
Duhaime has been a valuable player for the Wild in his short time with the team. He had four goals and eight assists in 59 games last season.
The Wild will hope to get Duhaime back in the lineup soon, but they will have to make do without him for now.
