Brandon Duhaime's Playing Status up in the Air Against Golden Knights
Wild Forward Could Miss Game with Illness
Duhaime Considered a True Game-Time Decision
The Minnesota Wild will have to make a game-time decision on one of their top forwards when they host the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night. Brandon Duhaime is considered a true game-time decision after missing practice on Wednesday due to an illness.
Duhaime has been one of the Wild's most consistent forwards this season, recording 10 goals and 15 assists in 56 games. He has also been a key part of the Wild's penalty kill, averaging 1:48 of ice time per game on the unit.
If Duhaime is unable to play, the Wild will likely turn to Connor Dewar to replace him in the lineup. Dewar has played in 27 games this season, recording two goals and three assists.
The Wild are currently in third place in the Central Division, two points behind the Winnipeg Jets. They are coming off a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night.
The Golden Knights are in second place in the Pacific Division, one point behind the Edmonton Oilers. They are coming off a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night.
