Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed Ruled Out for Week 11
Kansas City's Defense to Face Chargers Without Key Playmaker
Sneed's Absence a Blow to Chiefs' Secondary
The Kansas City Chiefs will be without one of their top defensive playmakers when they face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. Safety L'Jarius Sneed has been ruled out of the game due to a quad injury.
Sneed, a versatile defender who can play both safety and cornerback, has been a key part of the Chiefs' defense this season. He has recorded 28 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble in nine games.
The Chiefs' defense will have to find a way to replace Sneed's production against the Chargers. The Chargers have a high-powered offense led by quarterback Justin Herbert, who has thrown for over 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns this season.
The Chiefs will also be without cornerback Rashad Fenton, who is on injured reserve with a knee injury. The Chiefs signed veteran cornerback DeAndre Baker to help fill the void in the secondary.
The Chiefs are still expected to be favored in the game against the Chargers, but Sneed's absence will make it a tougher challenge for Kansas City's defense.
