Chiefs Look to Bounce Back After First Loss
Mahomes and Co. Determined to Use Early Setback as Motivation
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are ready to use their first loss of the season as fuel for the rest of the year.
Coming off a tough 20-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, the Chiefs are looking to bounce back and prove that they are still the team to beat in the AFC.
Mahomes, who threw for 249 yards and a touchdown in the loss, said that the team is using this loss as a learning experience and is determined to not let it happen again.
"We're going to learn from this and we're going to get better," Mahomes said. "We're going to use this as fuel to get better and make sure that we don't have any more losses this season."
The Chiefs will have a chance to prove themselves this Sunday when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home.
The Buccaneers are coming off a 19-16 win over the New Orleans Saints and will be looking to continue their winning ways.
The game is sure to be a good one, and the Chiefs will be looking to make a statement and show that they are still the team to beat in the AFC.
