Rockets win fifth consecutive game as VanVleet, Sengun shine
Houston Rockets guard Fred VanVleet scored 28 points and center Alperen Sengun added 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Rockets defeated the Chicago Bulls 121-92 on Tuesday night.
The victory was the fifth in a row for the Rockets, who have now won seven of their last eight games.
VanVleet was 10-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-9 from three-point range, and he also had six assists.
Sengun was 9-of-15 from the field and he also had four assists and three blocks.
The Rockets led by 13 points at halftime and they extended their lead to 20 points in the third quarter.
The Bulls never got closer than 15 points in the fourth quarter.
Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 24 points, while DeMar DeRozan added 19 points.
The Rockets improved to 15-23 with the win, while the Bulls fell to 19-21.
