Grey Cup: Bombers and Argos Tied 10-10 at Halftime
Winnipeg and Toronto Both Score Touchdowns, Converters and Field Goals
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts will head into their locker rooms at halftime in a 10-10 stalemate after a back and forth first half in the 109th Grey Cup.Winnipeg opened the scoring midway through the first quarter as quarterback Zach Collaros connected with running back Brady Oliveira for a one-yard touchdown. Marc Liegghio successfully converted the extra point to give the Bombers a 7-0 lead.
Toronto answered back late in the first quarter, with quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson finding Kurleigh Gittens Jr. for a 17-yard touchdown pass. Boris Bede's convert tied the game at 7-7.
The Bombers regained the lead early in the second quarter after a 31-yard field goal from Liegghio, making it 10-7 for Winnipeg.
The Argos tied the game once again later in the second quarter as Bede kicked a 46-yard field goal, sending both teams into the break deadlocked at 10-10.
