Is Trey Hendrickson playing today? Injury updates for Bengals DE

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson is questionable to play in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hendrickson suffered a neck injury in last week's win over the Baltimore Ravens. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but he was able to participate in a limited practice on Friday.

The Bengals are hopeful that Hendrickson will be able to play on Sunday, but they will make a final decision on his status closer to game time.

If Hendrickson is unable to play, the Bengals will likely start Cam Sample or Khalid Kareem in his place.

Sample has started two games this season, while Kareem has started one. Both players have played well in limited action, so the Bengals should be able to replace Hendrickson without too much of a drop-off in production.

The Bengals are currently 5-3 and in first place in the AFC North. A win over the Steelers would give them a two-game lead in the division.
