'It Was Just a Big Shock...': KL Rahul Finally Opens Up on Viral Animated Chat with LSG Owner Sanjiv Goenka in IPL 2024

Rahul Breaks Silence on the Animated Chat That Went Viral

KL Rahul, the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has finally addressed the animated chat with the team's owner Sanjiv Goenka that went viral during IPL 2024.

The Animated Chat Incident

During a match between LSG and the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Goenka was seen having an animated conversation with Rahul on the field. The chat, which was captured on camera, showed Goenka gesturing and talking animatedly to Rahul.

The incident sparked speculation about the nature of the conversation, with many believing that Goenka was expressing his displeasure with Rahul's captaincy.

Rahul's Explanation

Rahul has now broken his silence on the incident, revealing that Goenka was actually motivating him during the chat.

"It was just a big shock for me because I didn't know what was happening," Rahul said. "But then he (Goenka) just came and started speaking to me, and he was just motivating me, saying, 'You can do it, you can do it.'"

Rahul added that Goenka's words had a positive impact on him.

"It was a big boost for me," Rahul said. "It gave me a lot of confidence, and I went out there and played my best."

LSG's Performance in IPL 2024

LSG finished fourth in IPL 2024, narrowly missing out on a place in the playoffs.

Rahul's performance as captain was a mixed bag. He led the team to some impressive wins, but also presided over some heavy defeats.

Despite the mixed results, Rahul is confident that LSG can challenge for the IPL title in the future.

"We have a good team, and we have a lot of potential," Rahul said. "We just need to keep working hard and improving, and I'm sure we can be champions one day."
