The Cavs led by just 5 points at halftime, but they pulled away in the second half thanks to Allen's strong play. Allen had 12 points and 8 rebounds in the third quarter, helping the Cavs extend their lead to 10 points.
The Lakers made a run in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to 5 points with just over 5 minutes remaining. However, Allen and the Cavs held on to secure the victory.
The win was the Cavs' third straight, and it moved them into a tie for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
