Doncic injured knee in loss to Suns, Porzingis dealing with lower back tightness

The Dallas Mavericks will be without star guard Luka Doncic when they face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.

Doncic is dealing with a left knee sprain that he suffered in Saturday's loss to the Phoenix Suns. He underwent an MRI on Sunday, which confirmed the sprain.

Kristaps Porzingis is also questionable for Monday's game with lower back tightness. Porzingis has been dealing with the injury for the past few days.

The Mavericks are 2-3 this season without Doncic in the lineup. They will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak against the Thunder.

The Thunder are 3-2 this season and are coming off a win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.

Tip-off between the Mavericks and Thunder is set for 7:30 p.m. CT on Monday.
