NATO: Russia still not fully complying with Ukraine ceasefire
The situation in Ukraine remains tense, as Russia has not yet fully withdrawn its troops from the country. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday that Russia is still not fully complying with the ceasefire agreement, and that there are still Russian troops in Ukraine.
Stoltenberg said that NATO is "concerned about the lack of progress" in implementing the ceasefire agreement, and that "Russia needs to do more to fully comply." He also said that NATO is "prepared to take further steps" if Russia does not comply with the agreement.
The ceasefire agreement was signed on September 5, but there have been numerous violations of the agreement since then. Ukrainian officials have accused Russia of continuing to support separatists in eastern Ukraine, and of sending troops and weapons into the country. Russian officials have denied these accusations.
The situation in Ukraine is likely to remain tense for the foreseeable future. NATO has said that it is "committed to supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," and that it will continue to monitor the situation closely.
