Raiders Inactives Week 17: Chandler Jones, Darren Waller Ruled Out

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels announced the team's inactives for Week 17's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.

Among the inactives are two key players: Chandler Jones and Darren Waller.

Jones, a star pass rusher, has been dealing with an elbow injury that has limited him in practice this week. Waller, a Pro Bowl tight end, is dealing with a hamstring injury that has also limited his practice time.

In addition to Jones and Waller, the Raiders will also be without cornerback Anthony Averett (shoulder), defensive tackle Bilal Nichols (knee), and wide receiver Davante Adams (COVID-19).

The Raiders are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but they will need to win their final two games and get some help from other teams in order to qualify.

The 49ers, meanwhile, have already clinched a playoff berth and are looking to improve their seeding.

The Raiders and 49ers will kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium.
