Taylor Swift to Headline Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Aug. 28; Tickets Go on Sale May 5
Country music superstar Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium on Aug. 28.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
Swift's Eras Tour is in support of her latest album, "Midnights," which was released in October. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
The tour will begin on March 18 in Glendale, Arizona, and will wrap up on Aug. 5 in Los Angeles.
Swift has not performed in Kansas City since her Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018.
She also has a history with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Kelce was a guest on Swift's Netflix documentary, "Miss Americana," which was released in 2020.
In the documentary, Kelce talks about how he and Swift met and became friends.
He also says that he is a big fan of Swift's music.
Swift and Kelce have been spotted together on several occasions since the documentary was released.
In 2021, they were seen attending a Chiefs game together.
And in 2022, they were seen celebrating the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory together.
Swift's Eras Tour is sure to be a hot ticket, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.
