England vs. Ireland: Nations League Live Update
First Half
England and Ireland are currently drawing 0-0 in their Nations League match at Wembley Stadium. The first half has been a cagey affair, with both teams struggling to create clear-cut chances. England has had the better of the possession, but Ireland has looked dangerous on the counterattack.
The best chance of the half fell to England's Harry Kane in the 25th minute. The Tottenham Hotspur striker was played through on goal by Raheem Sterling, but he fired his shot wide of the post.
Ireland came close to scoring in the 40th minute, but James McClean's header from a corner was brilliantly saved by Jordan Pickford.
Second Half
The second half has started in a similar vein to the first, with both teams struggling to create chances. England has made a couple of changes, with Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount replacing Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden.
Ireland has also made a change, with Alan Browne replacing Jeff Hendrick.
The game is still very much in the balance, and it could go either way.
