Saints-Browns injury report: Who's in? Who's out?
New Orleans Saints
The Saints will be without several key players on Sunday when they take on the Cleveland Browns. Wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) has been ruled out, as has running back Alvin Kamara (ankle). Defensive end Cameron Jordan (knee) is also out.In addition to those three players, the Saints will also be without wide receiver Deonte Harris (hamstring), cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen), and safety Marcus Maye (ankle). All three players are listed as questionable.
The Saints will need to find a way to replace the production of Thomas and Kamara, who are two of their most important offensive players. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry is expected to start in place of Thomas, while running back Mark Ingram is likely to get the start in place of Kamara.
The Saints will also need to find a way to generate pressure on Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson without Jordan. Defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon is expected to start in place of Jordan.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns will also be without several key players on Sunday. Wide receiver Amari Cooper (hip) has been ruled out, as has running back Nick Chubb (calf). Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) is also out.In addition to those three players, the Browns will also be without wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (illness), cornerback Denzel Ward (concussion), and safety John Johnson III (hamstring). All three players are listed as questionable.
The Browns will need to find a way to replace the production of Cooper and Chubb, who are two of their most important offensive players. Wide receiver David Bell is expected to start in place of Cooper, while running back Kareem Hunt is likely to get the start in place of Chubb.
The Browns will also need to find a way to generate pressure on Saints quarterback Andy Dalton without Clowney. Defensive end Myles Garrett is expected to start in place of Clowney.
