Love's Scoring Surge Fuels Comeback
Miami Heat forward Kevin Love turned in a dominant performance in the third quarter of their game against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, sparking a comeback that led to a 113-108 victory.
After trailing by 10 points at halftime, Love caught fire, scoring 15 points in the third quarter on 6-of-8 shooting. His surge helped the Heat outscore the Pacers 33-19 in the period and take a 85-81 lead heading into the fourth.

Heat Defense Stiffens
In addition to Love's offensive contributions, the Heat defense also played a key role in the victory. After allowing the Pacers to shoot 52.9% from the field in the first half, they held them to just 38.5% in the second half.
The Heat forced 9 turnovers in the second half and held the Pacers to just 1-of-10 shooting from three-point range. Their defensive effort was particularly impressive in the fourth quarter, as they held the Pacers to just 16 points.
Butler's All-Around Game
Jimmy Butler also had a strong all-around game for the Heat, finishing with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. He was particularly effective in the fourth quarter, scoring 9 points and hitting a key three-pointer down the stretch.
The Heat's victory snapped a two-game losing streak and improved their record to 21-20 on the season. They will be back in action on Friday night when they host the Boston Celtics.
